BUT HIGHLY ENCOURAGED (MEMBERSHIP DUES ARE $40.00).
“Computer/Telephone and Photograph Analysis” will be instructed by Detective Wade Knutson from the William County Sheriff’s Narcotic Unit. The course is highly recommended for all types of officers and Analyst. Some topics for this course are:
Info on cell phones (retrieve data, historical tracking), embedded info on photographs, hidden info on magnetic cards, and evidence available on computer hard drives and search warrants for electronic media.
“Officer Involved Critical Incidents” will be instructed by Law Attorney Richard W. Carter, with 30 years of experience in the field of criminal law. The course is highly recommended for all police officers to learn about their rights when involved in critical incidents (custody deaths, shootings, officer’s rights, etc...).
A max of 50 students will be allowed for this training, so please register early.
All members who successfully complete the training will receive Eight (8) hours of TCLEOSE credit.
Elections for new Board Members will be held for the 2010-2011 year. We urge as many members as possible attend this meeting. We would also ask current members to help TNOA South Region membership grow by telling other officers in your respective areas about our upcoming meeting and invite them to attend.
